Wearing White with Pumpkin

I was so excited to find this open-front pumpkin duster cardigan on Amazon!  For under $25 you cannot beat the style, color selection and quality.  This pumpkin cardigan is a gentle machine wash, tumble dry low medium/lightweight knit fabric.  It has plenty of stretch and structure, along with deep side patch pockets and side slits.  You can shop the cardigan HERE.

My white jeans and t-shirt are from Old Navy and have plenty of comfortable stretch.  For the jeans, I sized up but could probably wear my actual size since they do relax a bit after wearing for a couple of hours. They come to the ankle and can be worn as shown or rolled up.

The accessories are all the same from the Day #1 post for this series.  I have doubled up my long gold necklace to wear it like a statement choker necklace style and to fill in the gap of the V-neck t-shirt, it brings more balance to the look wearing it shorter as well.  This necklace was a gift, but I found a similar necklace for you here on Amazon.  The earrings are from Versona, I wear them often with casual or dressy outfits.  Similar gold drop earrings are here at Amazon.

Casual Chic Pumpkin and White

Shoes can really change the tone of an outfit.  These animal print loafers provide balance and interest,  yet are a casual chic feel.

Third Piece Styling Pumpkin and White

The Scarf and Shoe

A scarf is a great way to introduce the third piece for a complete look and plays well off of the pumpkin duster cardigan.  This animal print infinity scarf can be worn long, long and knotted, or doubled (as pictured) — I will post about ways to wear a scarf soon.  I do not remember where I bought my scarf, but I found a similar one on Amazon.   Additionally, switching the loafers out for a healed sandal type bootie combines with the scarf for a dressier look.  Shopping links are provided below for your convenience:

A great seasonal option is the suede sandal type bootie with chunky heal that will be a very popular look this Fall.  This shoe looks great with many different types of jeans and pants, especially when you are not needing a full boot and open sandal season is gone while we are transitioning to Fall.
