Handkerchief Hem Comfort Tunic
I am having so much fun shopping with Amazon! Most purchases continue to please me with great quality and I really enjoy the variety of brands and fashion that they offer. I always read the reviews and full description of the items and have yet to be disappointed, and it’s really fun to have most things within just two days. Reading the size chart is also important, the size chart is highlighted in blue right next to the drop-down size selection menu when you are ordering this tunic.
I LOVE this fun tunic with its handkerchief hem. It gives the top flow without too much bulk and is flattering to most body types. The solid teal background with just the right amount of paisley-type block print gives it clean style without being too busy or overwhelming.
This tunic top is offered in several different prints and also in long sleeves. I did refer to the reviews and size chart and went up one size from what I normally wear — always order according to your bust size and the flared bottom will follow suit. It is a comfortable perfect fit that I have worn with these black capri leggings and also with navy cropped slim leg dress pants. Even though the print is navy, black also works well with it, not having to be “matchy-matchy” every time. The Amazon shopping link for this top is right below here in pink:
The top is made from an easy care blended jersey type knit that held up just fine after washing it several times already. There is no tag in these leggings that I have had for a long time. I just ordered a chocolate brown pair by the No Nonsense brand for Fall. I have always had good luck with their hosiery in the past and there were good reviews. Fall Transition Tunic
School is back in session here already and I have been seeing Fall styles creeping into the stores since early July, wow! We are still hot here in Georgia, really hot! Tunics are a great way to ease into Fall looks. Adding a lightweight navy or black cardigan on cool days will take you into Fall and also add a dressier look as the third piece for this outfit. You can read about my Old Navy cardigan and a fun athleisure look on my previous post here. Similar cardigans here and here are on Amazon.
You may recognize these shoes from my previous post about my daughter’s New York wedding here. They are very comfortable strappy patent leather slide sandals by East 5th. I found a similar option here at Amazon which I actually like better. I think a strap around the back would make them dressier, but the patent leather keeps them somewhat dressy.
Pendants with a Tunic
Y’all, multi-purpose things and little surprises thrill me to no end, LOL. I will be writing a post about fashion reading glasses soon, but in the meantime, look what I found on Amazon – Not only is this pendant pretty and stylish, it is also a magnifying reader! You wouldn’t want to read a whole book with it, but it is for those times when you don’t want to pull out your reading glasses, like when you are reading a menu or the back of a box or bottle with tiny print. Just hold it over the print and it gets the job done.
This pendant would also make a unique gift at an affordable price point. It has a nice adjustable silver-tone rope chain that is a flattering length to wear with this longer tunic to give it balance and just the right amount of sparkle. Be sure to read my other post HERE about Kimono styling that details a different style of reader pendant, so handy and fun to wear!
