Georgia seems to have finally eased into more pleasant weather.  Just in time for lighter weight colorful clothing for Cinco de Mayo!  Honey and  I went out to dinner with our longtime neighbors, Dick and Nancy, last Friday night for festivities at “Azul Tequila Taqueria & Cantina” here in Peachtree City.  Great food and they had live music for the occasion.  Did you know that Honey and I always celebrate in full-out native attire?   NOT…..! Ha!  Gotcha, I’m a sucker for the face-in-the-hole props every time!  But I did wear this: This red striped top is a lightweight gauze material that I bought from Target a few weeks ago.  It is a relaxed fit with above elbow short bell sleeves, square neckline and rounded hemline. I have had the sandals for a couple of years, they are “Rayana” by Life Stride with light support. I found similar styles here and here on Amazon. …

Happy Sunday! On the first page of my May content calendar, I noticed a quote that I felt was very timely for my first Flair Share that ties in so well with the theme of my blog:  “Find out who you are and do it on purpose!” Dolly Parton  — I just love that, you can always count on Dolly for her wisdom and positive spirit.  It really connects with me as I begin this blogging adventure and as we all find our flair.  (Visit my About page to find out more about me if you missed it.) This was a very big week for me as I launched 50 With Flair to the world this past Tuesday, May 1, 2018! After a lot of research, reading and learning how to build a blog, I felt that it was time to go live.  I am very grateful that you have chosen…

What is “Rosemont” and What am I Reading? I discovered the “Rosemont” book series by a free download of the first book; my Amazon books newsletter listed the free book and it sounded like something I would enjoy, which ended up being very true!  I then started following the author on Facebook, her name is Barbara Hinske. Barbara writes a series of books that have the feel of Downton Abbey mixed with The Mitford series by Jan Karon, at least that is the best way I can describe it.  I have read four of the books in her series plus a holiday book named “The Christmas Club” that is delightful and heartwarming, and soon to be a Hallmark movie!  I highly recommend her writing.  Barbara’s books are terrific and she also promotes and discusses other authors and their books.  Her Facebook page is a very nice group of women with positive discussions. …

So, here I sit at my laptop, nervous as all heck, getting ready to launch this thing out into the world! Today is May 1, 2018 and that means launch day for “50 With Flair”, my blog that is part of my reinvention.  I am passionate about it and my hope is that it will connect with you in a friendly and helpful way.  It is fashion and beauty inspiration as well as content about things I enjoy and that I want to share, but the number one thing is that it is about YOU.  I want this to be a safe and fun place for those who are seeking good and helpful ideas and information.  Maybe you found me because you are ready for some style and fashion inspiration and just don’t know where to start or how to put things together.  “50 With Flair” is here for you…
